Reveal Marketing Research Study: 70% of Romanians Want to Improve Their Financial Situation in 2022, and a Percentage of 53% Say That What They Want Most for the New Year is Health.
At the end of 2021, practically the second year in the pandemic, Romanians show resilience and adaptability to difficulties. It is the result of the latest study developed by Reveal Marketing Research, which shows that during this difficult year, the relationships with loved ones and the mood brought satisfaction among Romanians, who said they were satisfied and very satisfied.
Most Romanians are satisfied with their mood
Satisfaction occurs mainly among parents (70%) and among young professionals (61%). On the other hand, people over the age of 55 (13%) say they are dissatisfied with their mood.
Not surprisingly, the satisfaction of the professional sector is directly proportional to the satisfaction with other aspects of life: mood and social relationships – with family, friends and life partner. What the study basically shows us is that the aspects of our emotional state are starting to matter more and more.
Satisfied with the relationships with the loved ones, satisfied with the balance between personal and professional life
At the end of 2021, 7 out of 10 Romanians at national level said they were satisfied and very satisfied with their relationships with close people (family, friends or partner), and 5% said they were dissatisfied with these relationships. By socio-demographic categories, the appreciation of couple and family relationships registers statistically significant differences only in terms of children and income, this study shows. People between the ages of 35 and 44 seem to be more satisfied with relationships with family and friends (80%) compared to young people between the ages of 24 and 34 (62%).
Also, the professional activity and the balance between personal and professional life are among the main reasons for satisfaction for over 50% of the inhabitants in Romania.
Parents say they are very happy with the relationship with their spouse
According to the Romanian Today Barometer, during 2021 the satisfaction with the relationship with the partner, although positive, had a lower level against the background of a not very good mood of the Romanians, but, starting with February of last year, it registered a constantly high level, the peak being reached at the end of the year with a percentage of 65%.
The highest degree of satisfaction with the relationship with the partner is found in parents (72%) and in people aged between 24 and 34, with a percentage of 79%, according to the Reveal Marketing Research report.
Desired improvements. What aspects do Romanians want to improve for the new year
As a result of the disruptions caused by the second year of the pandemic, Romanians show a desire for change. Thus, 7 out of 10 Romanians want 2022 to be a better year from a financial point of view. There are also signs of improvement in health.
This topic has moved to the second position of the list of priorities where 52% of respondents say they intend to improve their health. Leisure (49%), physical condition (47%) but also the couple’s relationship is targeted this year by Romanians.
